We all know Dark Side of The Moon, Exile on Main Street and OK Computer are regarded as classic albums by those that decide such things. We at DeClunk HQ thought we might add some others, perhaps you don’t know that they are classics because you didn’t know that they existed. So,the first classic album that you may not know is PF1 by Pill Fangs. The album was released back in 2017. All the songs are written by the singer/guitarist Dan Haywood except the Leonard Cohen penned ‘Tower of Song’. Some lines are delivered at breakneck speed, words spurting out in a stream, other times a word is drawled out, vowels rolling round Dan’s mouth. You get yourself all cosy listening to the comfortable tune and harmonies of ‘Cruel to be Kind‘ then it turns into a crackpot guitar break, all jagged edges and twisted nerves. This is a fabulous album that kicks arse a lot harder than Pink Floyd or The Stones. Listen to it. Buy it.
