This album has come to the attention of the DeClunk HQ over the weekend. There’s a lot going on here. Her name maybe worthy of the 1970’s British punk movement but the music is bang up to date. It’s a mixture of sounds, the gothic ‘Seratonin’, the hypnotic beat of ‘Circle Square’, the electronic ‘Gaslight’ and the raw punk of ‘The Blame’. Like us you may be new to Violent Vickie. She is based in Los Angeles and describes herself as a ‘Dark Synth-Riot’ act. ‘Division’ is the second album from Violent Vickie, the first back in 2013 called ‘Monster Alley’. I’m not sure how we’ve missed out so far. Check out Violent Vickie.
