New Love Crowd cover Bob Dylan’s Lay Lady Lay (and we like it).

One of the favourite Bob tunes at Clunk HQ is Lay Lady lay. It was on the jukebox of a club once frequented back in the late 70s/ early 80s, so we know it well. This cover by New Love Crowd is rather good and the accompanying video might bring a smile to your face. Check it out below and enjoy.

New Love Crowd is the music/design project of Travis Swinford (responsible for Plains, formerly w/ Holy Youth, Drew Price, Dommel Mosel, Flower Girl). NLC takes a lot of moods & lessons and puts them into one tripping body strolling down planet Earth street. The music is reminiscent of 60’s and 70’s pop that is unafraid to be beautiful, vulnerable and strong at once. This is music for falling in love with the world as soon as possible. NLC’s current live show features Swinford, Dave Van Dusen, Henry Van Dusen, and Larry Sass-Ainsworth.
