Julia Daigle, one half of the Montreal indie french pop band Paupiere, releases this solo track ahead of the upcoming album ‘ UN SINGE SUR L’ÉPAULE‘. It’s got Julia singing in French, we love that here at Clunk HQ. It’s got that smooth alternative pop sound to it. The track is called ‘Sur la haute colline’. You’re probably going to have a little sway to it. The album is out on November the 5th.
Sur la haute colline is a musical tribute to René Choppin’s work, the afternoon color of honey and late autumn, published in 1933. It follows the video release, covered here on Clunk of ‘Usage Domestique’.
