Alba Fury release new single ‘This is Why’.

It’s always a good time to hear a new band. Alba Fury release their second single ‘This is Why’. Had you been keeping an eye on DeClunk then you would already be aware of Alba Fury. The guitar and drums drive the song relentlessly onwards, as singer Michael Ward tells us ‘This is Why’ as a matter of urgency. It’s a raw, raucous sound that could easily have you jumping around your bedroom, or kitchen, or anywhere that takes your fancy. Keep your glazzballs on this space to keep up with Alba Fury.

Jamie Thomson, the band’s songwriter and bass player, says:
‘This is Why is a song about acknowledging when you need help with emotional issues, whatever they may be. It’s about the anxiety that stems from our fear of being judged, rejected, or hurt as a result of revealing personal weaknesses or insecurities. Ultimately though, it’s a hopeful song about how facing vulnerability can lead to self-awareness and emotional resilience’.
The release coincides with the band’s next gig at The Old Dr Bells Baths in Leith, Edinburgh, where they are supporting The View’s Kyle Falconer, alongside a line-up that includes DOVV, Stagboy, Robin Ashcroft, and Rosie Alice.
