A brilliant evening was had by all at the Beak gig in Leeds. Our first trek to The Brudenell. What a great place to see and hear music. I looked at the long list of performances throughout November, those that live near are very lucky to have such a venue. Before Beak> was Litronix, a one man show of intriguing beats and sounds. He also did a nice line in robot grooving. Check him out. Beak> were fabulous, playing tracks from the latest album Beak>>>>. When watching a band as good as Beak> it does make one wonder why people pay hundreds of pounds to see others. There was some band chat too, highly entertaining as they ripped into each other lightheartedly. Will seemed to get more than his fair share. Beak played some of their ‘greatest hits’ for the second part of the gig. ‘We’ve got a few bangers’ said Billy. He’s not wrong. If you have yet to see Beak> grab yourself a ticket, you won’t be disappointed.
