Constant Follower new tune and a few dates.

Constant Follower have shared the other tune on the AA side single. The earlier track was ‘Turn Around For Me’. The flip side is called ‘See You Soon’. There’s a relaxing video that goes with it and a little warning. It involves rain and you may have seen enough of that stuff in the last 6 months. Fear not, you don’t have to see it to appreciate the song. Of course, rain has it’s beauty too. There’s a few live dates below. Enjoy.

The track features McAll’s close friend and studio partner, GNAC (Mark Tranmer of The Montgolfier Brothers), who adds his signature piano and guitar sound to the collaboration, bringing a profound depth and richness that complements McAll’s poignant lyrics and heartfelt delivery. Tranmer, a respected figure in the indie music scene, is known for his intricate and emotive compositions. His work as The Montgolfier Brothers has garnered critical acclaim and reverence among peers (Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour covers his song “Between Two Points” on his latest album single, released this week), and his solo project, GNAC, continues to enchant listeners with its atmospheric and nuanced soundscapes.

Mark says: “I was very happy to collaborate on this beautiful track. McAll asked me to augment what was already there, which at that point was mostly acoustic guitar and vocals. I wanted to keep the sense of space in the track. In the foreground, I added falling piano arpeggios and, in the background, some finger-style electric guitar, which I thought of as lines on a feint-ruled page of lyrics.”

McAll says: “Recording ‘See You Soon’ was an incredibly personal journey for me. It captures a memory that has shaped my life in profound ways. I trusted Mark would bring an added depth to the song – his own work is so multi-dimensional, and it was this richness that I knew he would carry to my music. His ability to layer sounds and create atmosphere is one of the things I love most about his work, and the way it enhances the emotional impact of ‘See You Soon’ is just what I was aiming for.”

McAll goes on to emphasise how essential it was to work with Dan Duszynski of Loma (SubPop) to produce the song. “Mixing the song out in the Hill Country of Texas on Dan’s ranch was a transformative experience. The stillness and expanse of the landscape, coupled with the raw power of nature, inspired a profound connection to the music. There were moments of intense creativity, punctuated by the storms that rolled in while I slept in my RV. The whole process was a blend of solitude and collaboration, allowing the song to take on a life of its own.”
