Orbital bring back the raving 90s!

Is this an album that I have ever sat down in my house to listen to? No. It wasn’t made to shoegaze to. This you have to put on for moving, even if it’s doing the housework. I have been revisiting this album in my car, I don’t mean just sitting on my drive listening to it like some weirdo. No, I mean as I am driving. And it’s been on for 2 weeks, the more I hear it again the more I love it. Maybe it will be added to the Drunken Bankside Disco this summer. You may think that you have other favourite Orbital albums but this was the debut and all the promise of what was to come is in there. After all it boasts the tracks ‘Chime’ and ‘Belfast’. ‘The Moebius’ samples Star Trek The Next Generation so that makes it instantly memorable, as long as you know your Star Trek! Okay, it lived it’s day in the nineties but that doesn’t mean it has to stay there. Get it on, get houseworking, get driving, get grooving. Alternatively, get all your mates in your garden and rave like it’s 1991.
