Liverpool daydreamers SPINN return with their second collection of lush, languid guitar pop. Imbued with an eternal sense of hope and drawing inspiration from profound Buddhist teachings, it’s a collection that sees the quartet backing big ideas with sky-scraping sonics that stretch for poppier new stratospheres. Split into two distinct spheres, its 11 songs fall into; ‘the blue’, which represent periods of anxiety and depression, or ‘the other side’, a place filled with colour, opportunity and optimism. The album was produced by Tom Longworth (Oscar Lang, Spector, Vistas, BLOXX) at Parr Street Studios.
