Susanna. New EP and single.

Norwegian artist Susanna, the woman behind Susanna and the Magical Orchestra, and a creator of bold, original and enrapturing music since 2004, is sharing the first single of her upcoming new EP The Harmony of Evening”. The EP is a follow-up to her highly acclaimed collaboration with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra called “Baudelaire & Orchestra’’ due March 6th and the first single “The Enemy” is streaming online now.

Susanna has continuously explored her fascination with the poetry and persona of Charles Baudelaire, through a trilogy of albums since 2020, an EP and even some remixes done by DJ Bendik Baksaas. On The Harmony of Evening, Susanna is joined by Oslo’s incredible, forward thinking KORK orchestra. The radio orchestra of NRK (Norway’s na:onal broadcaster) is known for its progressive approach, diversity and willingness to tackle challenging and contemporary music of all types. The music was arranged by Jarle G. Storløkken, and includes an arrangement by Stina Stjern’s gorgeous instrumental Rose-Pale Dawn, originally made for tapes. Christian Eggen – one of Norway’s top conductors – leads the orchestra, while it was produced by Deathprod and Susanna, and mastered by Espen Høydalsvik.
