the Fomites Bio:
Oozing out of the skateparks, sewers, and graveyards of Vancouver, The Fomites are a three piece skatepunk band.
Mild mannered employees by day, bloodthirsty punk rock monsters by night, they sing about pizza, Stephen King, anti fascism and partying in the face of Armageddon.
Dearly departed, let’s get this party started.
Quote about “Down The Drain“:
“…Equal parts melodic anthem and furious call to action, The Fomites wrote Down The Drain as a product of the times we find ourselves in: a boring dystopia wherein the rich get richer at the expense of everyone and everything else for as long as we allow them to do so…”
We Are Not A Cult Band Bio:
We Are Not A Cult are a punk rock party band making waves throughout the scene with their loud, brash, and original sound. They pull from a wide range of influences including skate punk, hardcore, and straight up rock n’ roll. Their energetic live shows always convert new fans, so come see why they’re your favourite band’s favourite band.
Quote for single “Taken Men” :
“…Taken Men is about being the daddest, most married band on the planet. It’s a thank-you to the partners who could do better, and don’t. It’s a song that we couldn’t get out of our heads once we wrote it, and now it’s going to be stuck in yours…”
